Alle weiteren Informationen erhaltet ihr in der Election announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dear Students,<\/p>\n for the upcoming summer Student-Elections (the Elections for the Student Parliament and the student unions) the Student Parliament (StuPa) is looking for:\n<\/p>\n1) Students to join the ELECTION COMMITTEE including a ELECTION COORDINATOR, All CAU Students have the opportunity to join these committees!<\/p><\/p>\n What are the Student Elections?<\/u><\/p>\n Each year all students elect the members of the Student Parliament and of the student unions. These represent the interests of students.<\/p>\n What does the Election Committee do?<\/u><\/p>\n The election committee is made up of 5 to 9 members who collect the lists of candidates and, in close cooperation with the university\u2019s election office, inform students about the elections and encourage them to vote.<\/p>\n To this end, the election committee is required to motivate as many students as possible to vote through election advertising. How exactly this should look is up to you. In recent years, for example, there have been posters and flyers, panel discussions and election videos. The committee has a budget available for the campaigns.<\/p>\n How much time should I plan with?<\/u><\/p>\n This isn't easy to predict and depends on the scale of the campaign. Preparation for the elections starts in April, the election deadline is usually in June. Last year, members claimed about 2-3 hours per week in April and May, and 6 hours per Week in June. The committee self-organizes and therefore decides on the meeting frequency itself.<\/p>\n Was bringt die Arbeit im Wahlausschuss?<\/u><\/p>\n Spa\u00df und Platz f\u00fcr eure kreativen Ideen!<\/strong> Ihr bekleidet ein wichtiges Ehrenamt f\u00fcr die studentische Selbstverwaltung. Nach erfolgreicher T\u00e4tigkeit kann euch eine Bescheinigung dar\u00fcber ausgestellt werden.<\/p>\n Au\u00dferdem erhaltet ihr eine finanzielle Aufwandsentsch\u00e4digung <\/strong>in H\u00f6he von 165 \u20ac pro Monat. F\u00fcr einfache Ausschussmitglieder werden drei T\u00e4tigkeitsmonate veranschlagt, f\u00fcr die Wahlleitung f\u00fcnf.<\/p>\n What does the Election Standards Committee do?<\/u><\/p>\n The Election Standards Committee is comprised of five elected persons. They are responsible for ensuring that the elections were carried out according to the official election procedure.<\/p>\n Important Formalities<\/u><\/p>\n As a member of the Election or Election Standards Committees you surrender for the duration of your service the right to hold office. This means that in summer, the student body cannot elect you. Members of the Election Committee will receive financial compensation. Law students do not receive a certificate for an administrative internship.<\/p>\n In your work, you are bound by the Statutes of the student body, especially the election ordinance (https:\/\/www.stupa.uni-kiel.de\/download\/wahlordnung-der-studierendenschaft-2020-01-28\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n How can you apply?<\/u><\/p>\n Das StuPa w\u00e4hlt die Mitglieder auf seiner n\u00e4chsten Sitzung am Montag, den<\/strong> 23. Februar 2026 ab 18:00 Uhr<\/strong>. Die Sitzung findet in LMS 8 – R.EG.017<\/strong> statt. Ihr k\u00f6nnt spontan auf der Sitzung kandidieren.
