These fundamental matters include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the drafting of opinions on higher education and education policy issues<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the choice of the AStA, which is in charge of the ongoing business of the student body<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the decision on the use of the financial resources of the student body<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the adoption of the budget<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the election of student members to the Administrative Board of the Schleswig-Holstein Student Union<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the decision on financial applications and major individual expenditures<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">passing resolutions and amending statutes and regulations of the student body<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the establishment and modification of student councils<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the convening of plenary meetings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">the election of StuPa representatives<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">IMPORTANT: You have only ONE vote, which is valid for the candidate and for the list of candidates at the same time.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">More information at:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stupa.uni-kiel.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.stupa.uni-kiel.de<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><strong>Student Repesentatives<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"n j-text\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The student council is the union of all students of a subject. The student representatives take care of the concerns and interests of these students. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">IMPORTANT: You are always only entitled to vote for ONE student council, usually in the first mentioned subject on your study documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Solltest du dein Wahlrecht hingegen f\u00fcr die Fachschaft eines deiner anderen F\u00e4cher wahrnehmen wollen, musst du dich zu Beginn des Wahlzeitraumes beim Wahlausschuss melden. Schreibe dazu eine Mail mit deinem Namen, deiner Matrikelnummer, deinen F\u00e4chern und der Fachschaft, f\u00fcr die du in der aktuellen Wahl das Wahlrecht aus\u00fcben willst, an <a href=\"mailto:wahl@studiwahlen.uni-kiel.de\">wahl@studiwahlen.uni-kiel.de<\/a>. The nomination is done together with the election of StuPa and student councils.
